Wow! Thanks guys, thats really cool! It's pretty kick ass to be the first second gen voted AOM, quite an honor! I have gotta say though that I couldn't have done it without everybody here. I've learned so much from just this site, and I especially gotta thank my inspirations!

I gotta thank PhydeauX with his DCOE A20 swap, his car was the very first one that got me excited about my Accord. Before I found his car, I thought I was hopeless with being able to do anything. After that, I learned that with some research, and some ingenuity that you don't have to have a ton of aftermarket support to have fun with your car.

Guyhatesmycar and offthahook have been awesome too helping me out with all sorts of random things. They've also helped me pave my way towards getting into the older 1st gens, and showed me how easy this stuff really is to do.

Also, thanks to all the rest of you 1geez, 2geez, and 3geez guys who have been around to help too! Your support has been invaluable to help me keep my car running! I often can find answers to my problems somewhere on the site in the 3geez sections. And all you guys who I've met, it's been awesome, and tons of fun meeting you all!

Congrats! Nice engine bay

My engine bay looks better now than it did in that pic... The zip ties holding my air cleaner on in that picture were temporary, I've got the actual clips holding that on now that I got from a buddy of mine who has Webers lying all over the place from his various air-cooled VW projects.

I also picked up the Blaster coil and some nice red 8mm plug wires. They look much nicer, and overall makes the engine bay look cleaner...

I was going to do that swap with Chef Bob from Malaysia. But I decided not to. Hazwan was telling me all about how many things just never show up, and how huge of a chance you're taking shipping stuff with the mail guys there. I decided it wasn't worth spending $150 on shipping, and have either his USDM lights not show up at his door, or my JDM lights not show up here...

However, Wohdog and his buddy 3gcvc on here both snagged me some mad tyte JDM parts. I got the Vigor rear garnish from them and the JDM headlights. Funny thing is the 2g Vigor came with the USDM-style headlights. So a Vigor garnish on the rear wouldn't match the JDM headlights... So we'll see what I go with. Either way, I like just having the parts.

Also, I've been in contact with some people from Europe, and a guy who travels there. '79Cord hooked me up with his info. Trying to find some of the 1 piece housings from the European countries that have LHD cars, so the beam patterns will be more correct. But, I'll take the JDM lights until then.
