Just a little video I took with the camera strapped on the front of my car during an autocross. This was from last summer.

Haven't had a chance to autocross with the new suspension yet... :( I'm scared that my current tranny is about to go. So after the tranny swap, it's autocross time. :)

Now how the heck did you mount that up??! :)

My friend made the mount. It's just some angle iron with the precut holes. Bolt a camera mount to one side, and screw it to your license plate holes. Genius!

I've got a 2nd gen Carb'd Prelude tranny. I picked up an 86, but I wish I had snagged an 85. The 85 has a better final drive ratio. Oh well.

Great vid and even greater driving skills, props dude:cheers: . But i gotta admit every time you entered a corner i couldnt shake the feeling that it was gonna understeer. Great sounding motor, and im sure with your future tranny/clutch setup theres gonna be even faster videos in the future

I'll have to get pics of the mount when I can get my hands on it again. It's so simple, I wanted to cry. My friend has it though, since it's his.
DO NOT LET YOUR FRIENDS AUTOX YOUR CAR!!!!! Doesn't turn out well. :( . Nice vid Yay for Induction Noise!!

I can't wait to come down and AutoX the hatch! It will probably understeer worse than yours, shorter wheelbase. The arse likes to slide!

Yeah man, it would be fun as hell to get another 2g out on the track! Believe it or not, the hatch and sedan have the exact same wheelbase.

Tote, I'll scan the page in from the FSM. Of course the 82-83 and the 84-84 models might have *slightly* different bases. But from the hatch to sedan, they do some sort of magical design, and the wheelbase remains the same. In fact, I'd even bet the cars have damn near identical floorpans...

I'll get some pics of the mount next time I roll out. It's pretty simple. Screw some angle iron to your license plate bolt holes on the front. Then get a tripod ball and unscrew it from the tripod, and bolt it to the top of the angle iron. Super easy and adjustable too.
