let me know what you need - there's about half a car left.. carpet's gone, most interior trim still available.. some engine left.. some accessories left. have a factory am/fm/cassette in near mint condition but untested..

If you're looking for anything let me know, the car's going to the scrapper soon and I want as many parts as I can get to go where they're needed before that.

I just keep forgetting to list it here. Was a grayish LX 4 door, ES2, 181k, average condition, ran well enough last time I drove it a year ago. Parts are going for shipping plus whatever's fair, if they're still around.

I'm looking for the plastic pieces that go in the top of the seats, where the headrest slides into with the buttons. They seem to be broken in EVERY car I've come across. Are yours still in good shape? Also, do you have the center console / cassette holder? Dibs on that if you do! :)

Hmm... Also, what would you want for the heater switches? Do those all work? Mine are getting old, and I haven't come across a set yet in nice shape.

ooh ooh! Front splash guard that goes under the front bumper. Aaand I need mudflaps, front and rear if you've got them. Plus the screws for them.

That's all I can think of for now.

Bump? Any good word? I think offthahook wants your power antenna setup too.

I got his power antenna setup (except the mast) and everything was UNCUT. He hooked me up mang. Hopefully, he has your stuff that you need. All I need are some more door molding clips and a couple other misc. things. The stuff he sent me was pretty decent and he described it all very accurately.

sorry guys - haven't been on much. I think I have three of the mudguards, may be able to get a full set thrown together next weekend if I can hit the junkyard.. and the splashguard I believe is on the parts car still (never had one on my 85, though). stereo harness is uncut, too. heater switches, if they're in good shape, I'll pull them off for you.. those plastic headrest bits though, I think they were trashed, like every other car. I think it's the sun. no center console on this car.. sorry man.

It may take me a while to get everything pulled together, but I'm making a list of what you guys need and I won't be scrapping the car until after it's all out. I'm planning on hitting the yard next weekend to pick up some stuff for offthahook.. don't think anybody else in town has touched the 2.5g's out there, and before winter there were a few of them pretty much intact.

Anywho. I'll pull all the parts together I can.. and I'll let you know when I've got 'em ready for shipping.

As for pictures.. don't have a camera.. trying to figure something out.

2ndgenguy - plastic headrest pieces are shot, front splash guard is in real rough shape.. front mudflaps only on this car, in average shape. heater/ac controls look like they're in good working shape, but i've never used them. pulled them out of the dash for you though. I'll get the mudflaps off the car next trip (didn't have a stubby with me) and let me know if you want an abused splashguard.

CAH - found a camera. need to learn how to use it. radio looks great.

and i'm serious - price is shipping plus whatever you think the parts you're getting are worth. at this point i'm more worried about finding good homes for any decent parts. soon as the swamp between the road and the car dries up, it's got to go.

Okay, I'll take the mudflaps, and the heater controls then. Thanks! Just lemme know what shipping is, and how's $25 for your time sound?

It may be awhile, but I at least have what I need to get going. Normally, I have to buy about 3 of something to get one that works right or was pulled right. I'm hooked up on this one, except for the mast. The mast is proving tricky for the power antenna.

car's been sitting about a year now, and I pulled the valve cover for shits and giggles last week. It's pretty old and crusty looking.. the car had been teen girl driven for a couple years before I picked it up for parts. She didn't know you're supposed to clutch to shift.. so I can't guarantee anything mechanically.. lots of carbon and sludge buildup in the valve/rocker assembly. Probably in decent shape underneath that.. I push started the car (no starter, but I have a replacement sitting in the trunk) and it fired up no problem.. ran like a top all the way to the field it's sitting in right now. Aside from you know.. gears grinding.. the whole way there.

but yeah.. this one is an ES2, 84-85 are pretty much the same. Still don't have any pictures for you.. I'll be done with work in another 10 hours.. maybe fool with the camera afterward. It's been a rough night on call.
