these could be in the FAQ section... or maybe a sticky in some other section.

I've a couple of metric ones kicking around. Anyone know if the pulse generator in my 82 speedo (assuming it has one for the cruise it never came with) would work as a VSS for EFI?

I don't know about the 82, but I think that I remember PhydeauX mentioning using the one in the gauge cluster for an A20 swap. Could have been MustardCat too... I would assume that cruise control works the same for the older ones. Is there a way to test the signal?

I need to make some more good FAQs and howto's for the 2geez and 3geez sections. I will definitely include this in one of those sections. Hey CAH, do you think you could scan these at a really high resolution, and maybe put them on with a ruler or something. I could convert them to a PSD so that when someone imports them to Photoshop, they can modify and reprint them and they'll come out to scale...

I've got hi-res scans of an 82's. I started on my white face's but decided to leave it stock. They actually came out pretty good though. I would post them here but they are pretty freakin huge {prints in normal size though} and in bitmap format so you could edit them easily. I dont know what other file format is loss-less.

Just convert them to PNG, it's lossless and compresses fairly well. Those ones that CAH put up above are from an 82 aren't they? So they're the same as those?

those arent the same as mine. looks like nippon-denso & mine are nippon-seiki. and there must be a shape difference between auto & 5sp. i have originals and edited (already white) let me look for them and see what i can do. how do i go about compressing without ruining them, they already register 4"X3.5" but pixels are around 1200X1100? Just convert to PNG?

*edit
N/M I got it.

You know it! LOL.

Actually forgot that stuff was still on those gauges. But they are pretty easy to edit and make your own. They print out at the correct size so anybody with an 82 with NS gauges is welcome to it.
Wow that really narrows down it's usefulness doesn't it?
