    Running Rich

    Hey

While driving around, my car always smells like it is running rich. The PGM-FI light comes on regularly and says that the Engine coolant temperature sensor is not working correctly. Sometimes the engine compartment smells like gasoline as well. I am getting something like 22 miles to the gallon on a good day. Is the temp sensor all I need to replace? Or is there something else wrong with my car? At one point, I thought the fuel injector for #2 cyl. was leaking, but I cleaned the engine and i haven't seen anything since. Is it possibly a fuel leak somewhere?
    Thanks for your help!!

Change the ect first. That should be it. It makes you run richer (depending on what values it gives the ecu).
