is the 2gee auto tranny the same as a 3gee?? Anyone??

Yeh the title says it all let me know thanks... I'm interested in buying a 2gee that needs a tranny and thought that I might be able to switch mine out of my 89 into this one...

The short answer is its problaby not. I don't think any research as been done on it but I would assume you'll run into the same problems as the 5 speed, the 2g axles have smaller splines. I'm not sure wether you can use 85 SE-i axles and lude Si hubs like you can with a 5 speed or not. For the effort its probalby easier and cheaper to get a used 2g tranny from a junkyard.
