I just bought a 89 accord and i was wondering what is the best way to sup up the car like engine swaps etc.

well are you talking about doing a swap, or building up your current engine. look around in the FAQ's for info on potential engine swaps. and if youre just looking to build up the engine you have now, do some searches in the performance section.
