    A/C compressor question

    Is there an easy way to tell what compressor I have on my 89 Accord

    You have one of three compressors: Denso, Keihin; NH140L.

    So it looks like from the pictures that the denso compressor is longer where the keihin compressor is kind of short and stubby?

    How bad are the Keihn's? I think that's what I have and I want to see if my AC works. It had been converted to the R134a and I am hoping it works.

    I converted a Keihin to 134 and it ended up siezing and throwing the belt, knocking out my power steering in the process

    Sorry to bring up an old thread but are the N/D compressors interchangeable with the Keihin compressors or do the mounting brackets and hoses need to be changed over also.
    I've got the keihin unit in mine and from what I read so far it's so supposed to be a POS....

    i took my car to my uncles shop and i found out that i will need new...brakes, valve cover gasket, and AC compressor...it has no belt i tried moving it and its shot....i have the longer one so i think its the denso...that would be cool ...hope i can find one for cheap

    can someone fix that link so that it works again? because i want to figure out which compressor i have w/o having to remove it and clean all the crap off of it.
