Im having a problem starting my car if I try immediately after driving it and parking it.I get no response at all from turning the key but if i do it enough times (less than a minute waiting usually)
it does start.
Anybody knows whats wrong with it?
thanx

it may be your starter.

Auto.
I check every time that the display says that its in park cuz i know u can have the same problem if u turn it off and it isnt in park.
its also not the battery.replaced that yesterday for a different reason and all the connections are pretty clean.

mine does that too. but its been working a lot better since its colder now. it might be ur main relay, but i'm just throwin that out there as a possibility.

My old car did that, a Toyota, where it would start cold, but didn't work when warmed up. It would go eventually, but it took awhile. I took it out and looked at everything, and the copper inside was corroded where the spark jumps to push the wheel out. I just took a piece of sandpaper and took the carbon buildup off, and polished it up. Never gave me a problem again.

If you don't even hear cranking then check the ground wires on the battery, starter and alternator. Then check the starter cable.
If those are not it, then it should be your ignition switch.
