So maybe it's already been covered before, but I was just thinking about my coupe, and coupes in General.....
....Now I know that the hatch was only offered in 2 trim levels:
:::::::::: DX
:::::::::: LX-i
...and I know that the sedans were offered in all:
:::::::::: DX
:::::::::: LX
:::::::::: LX-i
:::::::::: SE-i
...but what I'm real confused about is the coupe. Did they ever make an LX coupe? I can't seem to find anything about an LX coupe, just DX, LX-i and the very rare SE-i.

i cant help you out specifically, but on my way to school i saw a white coupe with the word: TYPE-R on the side!!! i think it was really fast, must have had a stealth exhaust too, cause i SWEAR it was the stock muffler.... lol...
so i guess they make a DX, LX-i, and then a TYPE-R. i am willing to bet the type-r is fastest though... :D
i think you have it right, but i havent everpaid attention!

My coupe brochure for 1988 only states DX and LXi. So I guess that's it and the SEi in 1989.

its easy to make your car type r. just add a type r emblem and then drive your car at 120 mph where ever you go and no one would know. :)

You know bobafett...we could have our own GT-R skylines too....just think...all we have to do is get the front 'skyline' emblems, and the back GT-R emblem, then automatically we have a 400hp, awd, right hand drive car! damn i cant wait!!!
:lol:lol
anyway....i did see a nissan altima with a GT-R badge on it...funny as shit...lol

I saw a V6 Mustang with a Cobra emblem and a GT-R emblem on it. Both were right next to each other.
i saw a prelude with a mitsubishi logo on it and a older caviler with a greedy logo on the windshild

Yes they did make LX coupe. I have seen one. But i think they were made between 86-87. i have not seen any 88-89 LX coupes.
Have you ever seen an Acura Storm Type R?

The coupes weren't made in 86-87, only 88-89 and only in DX, LX-i, and then the SE-i in 89.

So my next questions to you (given that many people agree that the LX coupe is non-existant), just to try and solve this mistery once and for all would have to be: Is ur car carbed or Fuel Injected? ..and.. Do you have power windows or cruise control? ..or simply.. Did someone steal the little "-i" off ur badging on the back of the car?

I'm thinking of stolen "-i" otherwise he would've known that he either has an LX-i.
