if you want to add an oil pressure gauge, you NEED the proper adapter to screw the fitting into the block, don't force one in, the threads are 1/8 BSPT in the oil filter adapter, you need this adapter to be able to hook one up properly, this is at MSC, and is probably the cheapest you will find it. Or get a sandwich plate and have multiple ports. Cheaper, easier, better. ;)

Are you saying there is an adapter plate available for less than $1.54?
