Like promissed in the newbie thread here are a few more information and pictures from my Prelude.

It's a '87 Prelude 2.0Si, chassiscode BA3, so basicly its like the standart US Preludes. But mine isn't US-spec, it's was made for the arabian Gulf. So there are a few differences to the US model. For example the engine. Here is a A20A4 under the hood instead of a A20A3, so there are absolutly no emmission controls on this car.
Here is the full spec list (everything stock from factory):
- A20A4; 120hp, 165Nm
- 4AT automatic transmission with the pistol grip gear selector
- cruise controle
- air condition
- power antenna
- power mirrors
- power windows
- power sunroof
- power steering
- 13" mesh alloys (including spare tire)
- cromax windows all around
- Pioneer AM/FM tape deck headunit
- 4 speakers
- JDM front and rear lights
- courtesy lights in the door cards
- rear spoiler
- km/h-mph gauge cluster (km/h on the outside ring, mph on the inside ring)
- 120km/h speed warner
- "Electric Navigator" (english one!)
The car was bought new from a german engineer, who was working for the oil industry in Kuwait back in the '80s. It's first registered on Feb. 1st 1987 in Kuwait City. In 1990 just before the Iraq invasion in Kuwait the owner moved back to germany and took the car with him, where it stays. I'm the 4th owner and bought it from a friend in December 2012.
According the VIN number it wasn't delivered to Kuwait, but to Saudi Arabia. And speaking of the VIN number: It's the 51th Prelude BA3 build for the model year 1987, so it's produced in the second half of 1986.
Since I bought it, I collected a bunch of NOS parts for it, did some details and minor mods and started with fighting against the rust. As well I collected some rare goodies.
And finally here are some pictures.

The goodies I've collected so far:
- OEM Honda vacuum cleaner
- JDM autocover fog lights (covers aren't nice and I don't have wiring or a switch so far)
- rear mudguards
- period correct Export number plate from Saudi Arabia
- K&N replacement airfilter
Other stuff I did so far:
- replaced the blasted and cracked front turn signals with NOS units and tinted them with foil
- polished the JDM corner lights and tinted the front part to make match with the grill
- removed all rust at the rear panel and the upper part of the left wheel arch
- removed the aftermarket hazard indicatior, they installed, when they imported the car to germany
- fitted a stock hazard indicatior from a european Prelude
- restored the header heat shield
- installed some new ignition wires
- replaced the battery with a OEM Honda unit
- replaced the old worn speakers with new Pioneer units
