New guy Coming from The Netherlands Ca4 86

hello,

let me introduce myself,

I'm Wessel from the Netherlands i'm 23 years old,

I drive a 1986 Honda accord Ca4 with a 1,6l engine with 88hp.

looking forward to getting some tips and tricks from you guy's,

Here are some pictures from my ride how it is looking now,

Next week it goes to the garage to fix the rust on the car next month it's going in again,
for the wheelarches correct if I'm wrong my English ain't that great :p i will let the doors paint as well in the same color,

@scania I have seen cars with the bumper in color of the car but it doesn't thrill me to do that, I like the black bumpers,

Qeustion,

I want to tune my engine to get it some faster,

Now I wondered could I use the exhaust manifold and intake manifold of the 2,0 carb engine on mine 1,6l carb engine?

If yes will it make my engine going faster ore stays it the same?

I am curious why your rear bumper had the red light...?

@scania, Those lights are my rear foglihts there oem in Europe,

Thank god everyone has his own style ore else it would be a boring world :P

I figured it out with the intake problem i will fit of another type so i'm gonna swap the intake manifold for more horsepower,

About engine perfomance i cant give comment..my engine also just standard stock..
No any modification..

LOL. My expertise is in diagnosis and repair it seems. I don't know much about swapping or other mods. I have a hard enough time keeping the stock motor running, so I'm not looking to make things any more interesting for myself. LOL

I'm sure the swap has been tried. A quick search should show whether it is possible. I would look it up for you, but the site search doesn't seem to work on my computer.

Why are the doors on the right side a darker color? Were they intentionally painted that color or were the doors swapped from another car?

@dr snooz I think it has been done by somebody else too haha,
@derolph, the doors on the right side are waiting to get painted the doors that where on the car when i got the car were full of dents and one big dent and some rust so I changed the doors,

Next month the car will get painted en the rust will be gone as well,
