Hello, I recently purchased a 1988 Honda Accord lx-i coupe. I;m very excited about this car as it is the first manual car I have ever owned!

Once you go manual, an automatic will never be the same. I still hold my auto shifter while driving as if I could change the gears.

Car looks real clean, (except for the rust bubbles) but hey, at least it hasn't burst through the paint yet. It'll give you time to get the rust fixed proper.

Wow! You have a remarkable specimen there. Please, oh please tell me that your only plans are to fix the rust and maybe re-upholster the interior but otherwise to keep it in pristine factory condition.

Welcome! I learned to drive stick in my 3G. It was easier than some newer cars I've driven.

Welcome from another member from OH. I also have an '88 Accord LX-i. My exterior color is silver but my interior is identical to yours. The previous owner of my car must have been a smoker; the front seats have some burn marks on them. Your seats appear to be in perfect condition.

Welcome bud. I too live in Ohio. I'm in the Dayton area. And I also have a 88 lxi coupe. Mine is gold exterior but also the same interior. Us Ohio 3geez owners are hard to come by. We should all get together sometime.
