Fiddling with the carb. Got rid of the emmisions... i'm not all done.. i just did according to what i remembered I need some input on this area... Car runs! and it's got atad bit more pep. still need to finish plugging afew things

The rims are 17 Nippon Evo's in gunmetal.

I so did not eat one of those. BUT, there was a guy with my build eating one.. he couldnt finish even half of it.

As for the color.. if i repaint, i'll keep the color but i'm goin to paint the bumpers after i get a lip or get an aftermarket bumper.

I had a few chicks chasing me around when i was driving the jag.
that 10 inch kicker packs a good punch. i convinced my dad to have one installed before we went to get the car in St louis.

how much did those rims cost you and what size are the tires? Did you lower the car any?

they are 17's. i got em for 1200 shipped As for the tires, they are 205/40/17 my car is lowered alteast almost 3 inches in that pic.

...goldy, don't mind Maurice, he's been hittin the hash pipe a little too much lately!:bh: But no really, Maurice, what you should'a said was that my new rims look a whole lot like his mine are 17" Kaizer K2's gunmetal w/polished lip. And mine's a hatch, with black bumpers, and it's slammed just like urs too.

I gotta admit, I like what you've done with that car. I'm not usually a huge fan of a hatch of that color, but ur car looks bad-ass like that. Keep the pics comin'..!

yeah i Looooove gunmetal rims.. the hb is sitting even lower now but i think i'll bump it back up atad due to the rear wheels having some major negative camber.

I'm having some problems with the carb... last nite it started up and purred.. then tonite it runs like a freaking v8.. shaking and all...

gonna have to talk to A20 and get some input. I"m supposed to take a trip back to oregon for christmas to see my gf but if my car doesnt run right i cant go probly.

I was thinking about painting it all black and having a CF hood and a lip... but...eh... i dunno what my plans are now... if i dont get that motor running like it's supposed to then i'm in trouble.

... the secondary doesn't connect to the air jet controller port... you have to connect it one over.

The red arrow shows where the vacuum line from the secondary diaphragm should connect to.

did you hook the idle diaphragm near the throttle cablwe to manifold vacuum?

oh yah.. i figured it out earlier this evening.... i was cursin myself for not paying enuf attention tothe ports... :D oh and now the car freakin revs real nice.. it seems to rev faster and get on the go better. I cant wait to do the secondary conversion.
