My '88 Accord with 139k miles is acting funny when accelerating from a stop. Most of the power is lost; it takes a while to get up to about 2K rpm at which point the power just magically comes back. There is no CEL and the ECU does not have any codes -- I think its the fuel filter but my dad thinks the injectors are clogged. Anyone with more expertise / the same thing happen to them know what's actually up? Thanks.

Could be many things. Doubt it would be fuel injectors or filter. Sounds more like timings off. Mine did the same several years back. Belt was old and stretched. Managed to jump 2 teeth. Got a new belt and made sure timing was set right. Didn't have anymore issues. Also had a 91 accord that acted the same way when it got water in the distributor cap. I would start by checking those two things.
