That was a pretty catastrophic fire. It looks like they left it to burn itself out. There's not any sign that so much as a fire extinguisher was used. Do they not have provisions for engine fires at the Nurburgring or did it go up that fast? Bad juju.

The 'ring is 21km per lap -- it always takes a while for someone to reach you.

I read this morning that the batteries exploded to start the fire.
