View Full Version : hooking up playstation to stereo?

im putting a lcd and my ps2 in my civic ... dont say its gay or anytinhg... all i want to know is how do i hook the tv and ps2 up to the stereo in my car?

I think you need an Aux hook up. Im sure there are ways around it but im not sure. From what i hear you run RCA to the LCD and PS2 to the LCD. Not sure but i know my new stereo has the aux feature for a TV hook up....

most high end new stereos have a set of RCA for input. then you hook the audio out to the aux in on ur deck. to hook the PS2 to the TV, u hook the RCA plugs from the back of the PS2 to the TV. there will be a video in(yellow) and left/right audio(red and white)

Then put power to them, turn the deck to AUX and it will play!

you should hook it up in your house were it belongs unless you want your car to get broken into . ive had some friends get there stolen

just make sure its hidden or get an alarm first. ps2 in the car is definitely the way to go. i stuck mine under the seat and my lcd detaches so i can hide it. or you could get a motorized lcd that hides itself
