My friend was telling me the other day that a weber carb, mild reground cam, header, exhaust, ignition, and stage 1 clutch would only get me to about 115hp. All this stuff I want to do, and he telling me only 115 makes me sad:(. He said that the displacement of our engines limits the potential of these mods. What do you guys think?

Thanks.

I think 2L is enough displacement to work with. My guess for the HP you would be putting out is 115HP at the wheels or maybe even more. Plus the 15% or so loss through drivetrain woul dmean something like 130+HP

Yeah, thanks Yasu. Thats more what I was looking for. I think my friend gets pleasure from telling me I'm wrong or something:confused: . By the way, I got a cam at the junkyard, and I'm gonna send it to Geoff this summer. Thanks, Yasu.

Almost there, just need to get a reground cam(Coltcams) and performance clutch and she'll be one lean mean 3G machine
