Well as most of you know my accord got totaled a month or so ago. I fought for a while with insurance and after it was all settled I came back with a little bit of cash and the car. Well parted it out somewhat and am still left with my built motor, the ksports, and a few other misc things.....In the meantime a buddy bought a thought to be blown up et2 1985 Prelude. Well after getting so frustrated with timing belt probs, I got it for a steal and am gonna be throwing my a20 in it, and going to some type of carb or carbs, from the previous efi that was in the accord. Should be pretty fun, and a good motor is a plus...the Et2 is more than likely shot, everything is right and its not starting, so im gonna do a compression test tomorrow for possible. blown hg. Either way im still gonna throw the A20 in it and run something stupid carb wise....dont wanna do efi this go around. :) On to the pics....whats weird is how the prelude is the same color...

My 86 Accord....was a sad day. :(

Yeah I reckon im keeping it. Did a compression test and turns out motor is trash. Cyl 1 was at 60 psi cyl two was at 55psi cyl 3 was at 35psi and cyl 4 was at 39psi!! So looks like im gonna throw the a20 out of the accord in it. Just gotta find a good carb manifold and some dcoes cheap for it, since im gonna be running carbed and not efi.

I know that feeling. It happens when theres too much to do in the house, the cars and rides, the yard, the time for family & friends...it gets overwhelming when it is supposed to be fun.

I know hood clearance will be an issue with any downdraft carbs but dcoe are expensive even cheep ones by the time you tend to everything..
Those cars are fast, sprinty, with very little mods.

I understand about the fixing part. I force myself to take breaks so I don't get burned out with whatever it is.
