i took a trip to the junkyard yesterday with my gf to get a new hood off a del sol they just got in for her car and i notice the Del Sol SI Rims, in pretty good shape... i asked the guy about them and he told me they wouldnt fit an accord. The lug pattern is a tiny bity differnce, like 5mm. does this really matter too much? he told me that accords and preludes can mismatch but not accords with integras, civics, or del sols...

The guy is wrong, he's thinking about 4th gen accords and newer. Del sol's are civic based and thierfore use the same 4x100mm bolt pattern that our car use.

4th gen accords and latter use 4x114.3, some 5x114.3
3rd gens use 4x100

This question should have been posted in the Suspension/Wheels/Tires section

i think that guy didnt now shit. i have seen any honda wheels the are 4 lug that couldnt fit the 3gee. i could be wrong, but i have seen integra, civic, other accord, and crx. i guess ive seen the del sol rims on a 3gee. most likely so. i would wanna get em cuz i can never find a honda or acura with nice rimz to get.

you can buy adapters that just slip over the 4bolts and make it 5

here they are...http://www.truckn-store.com/product_category.asp?id=7

Ok, before someone ask's. Good luck being able to find a wheel that has a offset high enough to be able to make the rim AND adapter fit without rubbing like mad. You'd need at least a 50mm offset for it to work. Besides the whole thng is really pointless, FIND the style you like in 4X100 and don't get involved in that nonesense.

of course this matters. you are dealing with solid, rigid metal wheels. nothing is going to flex or anything to allow you to use anything but an exact fit.

 Just for the record, 88 integra wheels will bolt right up to this car.

Any honda 4 bolt pattern will fit out car I'm pretty sure.
I have 2002 Civic SIR rims on my car and the fit fine.

OH BOY... if I had known you could get 4 to 5 bolt conversions I woulda changed what wheels to buy..

I want to change to 5 bolt honda pattern..... what do they use? That would soooooooo be cool since I can get a pair of prelude or s2000 rims no prob' :) Or maybe even the new accords.... oh baby! Is this possible?!?!

then again, I see what you are saying about the offset being to close together for the adapter to fit..... hrm... I'm going to email that company and see if they can do it for me......

lol yesterday i saw another 3g and it had six lugs... maybe it was just a hubcab that looked that way? it didn't look like any real reason to have the six lugs... it was stock

Dude those rims will fit. Civic/integra/del sol rims fit our cars, but 90 and above accord wont fit. Also Civic/Integra Type R rims dont fit either (not fake ones... no rice)

:lol speaking of those plastic hubcaps that look like wheels, I was just at walmart and somedumbass mechanic in the service department tried to take off one of those fake lugs with an airwrench. the look on his face was classic. :wtf: :lol :lol

hahaha, thats pretty funny. I think he should be able to tell a hubcap from a real lug.
