Hey guys, im selling my 1989 accord SEI coupe. Owned and maintained by a Honda technician
Backround: I bought it from the second owner. I was told The first owner (who owned the car for most of its life) lived in Miami and was a school teacher who maintained it quite often. I have a huge folder of regular service records from when the car had 30k miles up until just before i bought it. 2nd was a Sheriff's investigator who just did not need it anymore. this car has been an awesome daily driver for me and is great on gas. reason for selling is that just dont need it anymore as i already have other rolling projects, and i need a little extra money to put towards a down payment on a new car. Car info: 225k original miles. 2.0L EFI with a 5 speed manual. Dark blue/green with light tan interior. Working power windows, manual door locks, rear window defogger, factory Bose sound system that still works good, cold a/c that was put on the a/c machine in the shop (i work in service at a Honda dealership) this summer and completely reclaimed and vacuumed and a full recharge. power radio antena with an in-car switch that still works great. all leather interior, audio controls on the steering wheel that work great, manual seat adjustments, original 14' alloy wheels, michelin tires that have good life left in them, power flip up headlights work like brand new never have any issues with them at all ( no winkers), lightly tinted windows ( not sure of exact percentage), digital dash clock work like new with adjustments. all heater and a/c controls work, heater works great, fully functioning cruise control, work great, windshield motor and squirters work good. power adjustable side mirrors that work great, window lock switch works.
Service record(the pros): last timing belt/water pump was done at 176k ( have RO of this and many other major services). All oil seals and oil pan have been replaced. This car does not leak a single drop of engine oil. all engine vacuum are new, new PCV valve, new spark plugs, new coil, new passenger side CV axle, new fuel pump filter, relay , and pump itself. new radiator and coolant hoses, new brake pads, new alternator, new drive belts, new harmonic balancer (old one was chipped), oil changed at honda with genuine honda filter. tranny oil was changed at 203k. new clutch cable, new starter, new battery ground cable, new valve cover-to-body ground cable, new ignition switch, new axle seals, new lower ball joints, new(factory) exhaust, new honda wiper blades, new air filter
Cons: had a cheap paint job before me and mixed with the florida sun, the clear coat is fading and peeling on the roof, hood, and small amounts on the trunk lid. has an intermittent misfire at idle, but is slight and still drives and cruises like a champ. No check engine light. power steering rack leaks a little bit and the boots are torn. RF door speaker is toast. small amount of rust in left rear wheel well area and roof trim. I tried to show it the pictures. stains in back seat and various parts of the carpet from age and normal use. Rear window will need a new seal as the old one has started to deteriorate and leaks in the rain on the back seats. driver's side outer CV boot just tore (doesn't clunk yet)
Asking $2100 OBO I am very willing to negotiate on the price and NEED to sell soon. Located on Florida East coast, about 45min from Orlando
