when you're shopping around for the b20a, make sure you don't get the b20a i have, for the 3g ludes... ask to see the engine if you're buying it locally or a picture of it if you're buying it online... if you just ask for a jdm b20a, you'll get the wrong one for your car... i'll toss up a pic of my jdm b20a, which is the wrong one, and a pick of the b20a YK86 has for his car, which is the correct one...

the correct b20a should bolt right in... you'll need to do all the same stuff that you would if you were just converting to fuel injecton from carb... for more prelude specific info, hang out with us at honda-prelude.com (http://www.honda-prelude.com)... you might be interested in keeping your a18 in there, richard judge (rjudgey on h-p.com) is putting over 200 hp to the wheels in his 2g lude with the stock a18...

i dont have an a18 i have an et2 in there. i need to know what to get . i need to put an engine in there quick and if i dont get answers quick then im just gonna put another et2 in it and sell it and get a 93 integra. i wold like to put a b20a in and make it a litttle sleeper. that would be sweet. thanks for all the help. what year b20a? do i need to buy the special b series mounts? and is it hard to make carb into fei?

you can have a carbed B20A, you don't need special mounts

The engine that I got my JDM camshafts from was from a 2nd Gen prelude. Or so the guy at the breakers yard told me.

I have converted a EFI B20a to run on a carb. Needs a bigger carb than the standard accord carb, but am going to try a bit of tweaking to see if I can get a little more out of the carb before I change it. (spent too much on the engine rebuild/swap)

check the FAQ on the B20A, everything that applies to the Accord will apply to your Prelude.
