nice job on the chop. You shaved the door handles, gas tank lid, and side marker.

Looks good.
I wish I would have shaved all of that in the first place. I really wanted to but back when I painted the car, the stuff I shaved was pretty extreme for a Honda.

Just a smaller brush dude ;)

If you did the trim strip, and the bumpers, that would be tight too.

hehe getting rid of the trim strip would be some serious work... look at all the different light patterns.

I was trying to suggest you save the lighting effects... try not to use the blur tool, it removes the pixilation and thing look uneven.
otherwise it's pretty good... just keep practicing.

I'm not too good at explaining things but here i go...

It's mainly copy and layering.
Copy large segments of a smooth part of the door where the color matches the area you are trying to cover.
then layer it over the trim, erase the areas of the layer you don't need.
do small areas at a time and always keep an original picture of the car so you can layer it and check to see if the colors don't change too drasticly from the original... it also help to bring back the pixillation as a touch up... maybe set the layer to 20% transparancy and erase areas of the layer that would bring back the area you just tried to remove..

also use the pencil tool at the single or 4 pixle brush size and set it at 25% or lower and use the eye drop to get the color you need... use the pencil to touch up around the edges like the door edges and around the fender well.

oh some icons aren't visable on the tool bar. hold alt and click on and existing icon to change it to the next tool.

EX: the paint brush changes to the pencil.
