I have been doing a lot of work on my car lately.

First off, I have to tear out the old wiring harness, The Haltech comes with it's own wiring harness. For me to do this properly, I have to take the dashboard out, so that is done now..

I also am modifying my fuel tank to allow bigger 1/2" fuel line (huge by stock standards.) I am also going to be installing to fuel filters, and a Aeromotive fuel pump underneth the back of the car..

I can't just cut all the wires, I still need the headlights, turnsignals and windshield wipers which are all intergrated into the main wiring harness, so I have to carefully cut away the wires I do not need----fun huh?

I must say justin, you are one mechanical minded mofo. If that was me, I would had lost all of the bolts or gotten them mixed up..or better yet..forgot how it all went back together..then im screwed!

Good job tho.

Nate.

Yup,

like you said, everything is all mixed up.

That's why I just changed the whole thing when converting to EFI... no need to do that mind boggling stuff.

I think you'll need to get the heater core our too :p

Aren't you lucky, you don't have to take the steering column down to get the dash out of a 3rd gen. I went through that same process with my nova, make sure you don't mix up any wires or the real fun will begin. By the way has anything happend with the cam gears yet?

I had to drop the steering column and take out the dash to change the heater core in my brothers Mustang not too long ago. That was no fun either. I know you know what you are doing so I'll leave you to your work.

That has to be the fastest 3rd gen on this planet (or the slowest because it's always getting torn down.) I would love to see the completed project some day. Keep us updated. I know you have a ton of work ahead of you but it will be worth it.
