my PGM-FI light was on

i was just driving along and then the PGM-FI light came on. what is wrong with it, is it anything major??
in my owner's manual it has got .......have the system checked by a Honda dealer as soon as possible.

please help

We are the honda dealership :D
Just check under the drivers seat. You'll see a small window, pop it open and put keys in ignition I and read the number of times the LED in the window blinks. Then check with the FAQ.

i can't find anything in the FAQ!!

today i start my car up the PGM-FI light did not come on but the engine is runing really bad and there is lots of black smoke coming out of the exhaust.

don't worry i found the problem it was a loose spark plug and a broken vacum hose.
