My car will be sitting another few days until after pay day, as my battery had a cell fail, as the rest shortly followed. Bought a new battery and my significant others Battery died, so i'm still waiting to get my Honda a battery. The reason behind using my new battery in her car, is i have a vacuum leak right at the fuel injectors where the injectors snuggly fit into the o-ring/intake. On an attempt to remove my fuel rail, upon loosening the driver side outside and the second from the drivers side outside nuts, the nuts stripped the stud somehow. I've found a Fuel Rail Stud kit claiming to be for most Honda intakes, including B-series. Here's a link: myHondaHabit Fuel Rail Stud Kit (http://myhondahabit.com/index.php/myhondahabit-products/myhondahabit-fuel-rail-stud-kit.html)
LMK what you think. It's costs more than $10 less than OEM if you calculate in the fact that Honda charges $4/Handling+$8 for shipping anything, as well as IMHO they're probably built out of a stronger metal than Honda's OEM.
Furthermore, I've tried to contact these guys and ask if they would work. Of course, noone knows how to email back. Studs are M6 x 1.0 x 50mm.

I was afraid this could happen! Whenever I tighten those nuts it feels like the threads are made of putty. Fortunately I have not stripped one yet.

I have to hand it to Honda, they stay abreast of the market when pricing their parts. If it's a part they know you can get elsewhere easily, like an oil filter, they will price it right at the market. If they know you can't get it anywhere else, prepare for some prison love. Because those studs are so expensive, I'd guess you'll have to buy them from Honda.

You cannot use b series studs, they're either too long or too short. Can't remember which.

even if they were too long, that's fine. that won't hurt anything. the too short part will though...

You don't understand. Thr threads are the same length, but there that solid, unthreaded part. That's what's different.

You're right. But, it doesn't even matter. The fact that the black plastic bushing goes between the rail and the intake manifold itself, makes the threaded or unthreaded part irrelevent. These would still work either way as they are the same thread, just simply longer/stronger.

Not necessarily man, I found that those were too long and didn't apply enough pressure. Unless the ones you got were different then my b18 ones. Pics?

Snug fitting metric flat washers should have helped that.

Pfft dude I try to do things the right way, plus that won't look as good.

Considering the only part you'll see is the very top of the stud...What would looking right have anything to do with it? whose gonna be like "yep, those 4 non OEM washers you put on there clash with everything else"?

Turns out the B-series fuel rail studs(left) work well in place of the A-series studs(right).
