Well, I was participating in a car show today and good really good comments from people looking at my car. I will post pictures of the show later on. I got all sorts of questions about my MSD and stuff like that. LOL

Anyway, the dyno test was just to find out what needs to be done to fine tune the car. Since I swapped the EFI system, I didn't adjust anything (not even the timing).

So, I wanted to have a base point to compare with future mods.

I made 85 WHP  and 90.2 lb/ft of torque.

You can see the graph here (go look at it it's interesting)

I had a peak at 5350 rpm and it went down to come back around 6000. This must mean something for sure. Either my timing is off, which wouldn't surprise me since I didn't adjust it or it's not getting enough fuel or doesn't burn it completely.

I will adjust the timing and get an Air/fuel gauge. I'll check if it's running lean at that spot.

oh, as you can see on the pics, I kept the rims on the car.. which substracted a good 5-7 WHP from the car..

I'm confident to get at least 100 WHP by the end of june when my tuning is done.

It's not bad considering I have a carbed engine that started with 98 HP at the FLYWHEEL hehe.

yea your timing is probably way too far advanced if it's still set to the carb'd motor specs. 24* BTDC for the 5 speed carb'd motor, and 15* BTDC for the 5 speed EFI motor.

I remember going to a car show once where they had a dyno like that. Looked pretty neat...

Cool, I would like to have that done too.

you said that you have a a/f gauge, make sure your car is running in the red, the correct a/f number 12.5:1 after that you are just losing. you have the proper computer right? if not i have an extra. seems like a hole in the fuel table.

Nah I don't have the gauge yet but I plan to fabricate one soon.

I got every parts from an SE-i so I have the correct computer.

I'm glad I did that dyno test cause I had no way to know that there was a hole between 5300 and 6000 :-)

when i find the plans, i will post them. the plans are for a standered a/f meter and the other is for a 5wire o2 sensor. the 5wire o2 sensor is the same o2 sensor as used in the vtechE, and the old crx hf or hx i cant remember. the neat thing about this o2 sensor is that it is not a switching or narrowband o2 sensor, but yet a wideband. the a/f meter will show the ratio not a switching led.

let us know I'm interested in the o2 sensor:D
