My battery Light blinks

I recently replaced my altenator and about a week later my battery light started blinking. My battery is good and the alt. is charging really well. It ussally doesnt blink unless it is at high rpms or if the stereo is really loud or both. I do have a cap for my system so I dont think its loss of power when the subs hit. Any Ideas?:wtf:

My guess still would be the alternator not delivering enough charge. Maybe the belt is slipping.

Is your belt tension OK?

You make sure the connections at the alternator are clean and tight?

You COULD always try turning off your radio and amps and stuff and see if it still does it....

On a final note, some rebuilt alternators are good quality that last a long time... some are crap... hope you got a good one.

check the battery output when engine running > 14.5 V

and ask some one to rev it to 300 rpm ! should be 15 + V
