So I was just thinking about it, and it seems that one of the major obstacles in lowering a car is the clearance, and added stress on the upper control arms. So, has anyone thought of actually remounting the front upper control arms to a higher point in the strut tower in order to provide a more natural angle for the ball joint, and a better clearance of the arm to the tire?

Is this possible? Is it worth trying? Is it even beneficial in any way?

I see what youre saying but im not sure if it would eliminate the camber probs (it could give you other problems) and im not sure about how hard it would be to relocate the control arm mounts but it sure sounds like a hella lot of work... gotta have access to a welder
