Dash panel removal question.

There are some metal brackets that seem attached to the panel, wire harnes attached to it. Does it need to be separated from the panel or is it part of the dash?

With the radio, ac heater controls, clock & instrument panel removed and or unfastened there shouldnt be much you can take of wire wise.if if there is just unplugg them so they follow the dash. The steering column should be lowered down for better access.

the ones around the radio area? there is a connector just right of the steering wheel, all of that unplugs right there, then the harness actually attached to the dash, removes with it, the entire dash harness unplugs and is separate from the harness attached to the body.
