The biggest one that will physically fit in the battery tray.

You can still get better batteries at the same size or slightly larger. Look at optimas. Unless you're running a disco-mobil, then you can add more batteries :D

man i think your uncle ment more amp ! but you have to consider something that can be charged by your stock alternator which it's out put is 65 amp ( i guess )

I would buy an Optima battery anyways. Even though I think its your alternator.

I have the stock smaller battery (525 cca) and ive been running a 1200 watt amp on it for 6 months, never killed the battery (also have a 140 alt) but i ran a 400 watt amp off of the stock alt for 8 mos before that, on the same battery. Unless ur alt is really weak dont worry about the battery until you keep draining it

I was serious when I suggested the largest battery that would physically fit in the spot. I had a Chevy Suburban and when it needed a new battery, I learned that the "replacement" was only something like 500cca. I replaced it with one almost double that and had no problems with the alternator keeping it charged. It gave me more starting capacity when it was cold out.
