Unfortunately it is for the wrong car. So I was scouring the nation for a simple seat back and cushion for driver side and I though I found them OEM brand new from vintage parts in Wisconsin. When they finally arrived the cushion assembly was for a 4 door LXI and the seat back was for a 4 door LX, hey at least its the same year but they are definitely not the same. If I do not end up using them I would like to offer them to fellow 3G fanatics before I send them back. I would be asking what I paid for them plus shipping to you, thats it. I believe these are the last ANYWHERE which are brand new. I've been on all the sites including inquiring within the parts network of Japan. Hahaha. Check out these pics...

Just out of curiosity, what's different about them? What prevents you from using them?

I was looking for 81520-se0-A11ZA (the 2 delineating bottom cushion) and 81530-SE0-A11ZA (3 deliniating seat back)...i have an 86 hatch lxi graphite gray (nh89l). I just got it after losing my 86 hatch lxi greek white 3 years ago.

Whats pictured above is 81520-se3-A21ZA (for the 4 dr lxi) and 81530-se3-A11ZA (for the 4 dr lx). I may use one of them once i see it in the car but i it matching perfect.

The best description of my current cars seat is the fabric is like thick courdoroy.

I will post some pics of my driver side seat so you will see the differnce and understand why i wanted to find a replacement. The search continues.

What color are the seats? They appear to be maroon/burgundy.

Nothing is wrong with the new seats they are just not oem so the driver side wouldnt match the passenger. They color of the seats are called palmy gray

Ah. It's an OCD thing. I'm the same way. That's why you didn't simply take it to an upholstery shop, right?

Haha, you called it. I will most likely go to a shop because the proper seat cushion and seatback for my vehicle are over 500.00 for each if you can find them which is near impossible.

How different are the seats? Would you be able to modify them to match? Could the upholstery shop modify them?

If it's only the foam part that's bad on your seat, you can transfer the fabric from one seat to another easily.

All of them, but i found the oem seats brand new at Vintage parts in Wisconsin. This is the place dealers use as a last resort.
