newbie with 89 honda accord dx 4dr sdn dx at w/ 310,410 miles needing parts

i live in the Washington State area Arlington.

need a thermo valve and a choke opener has my mechanic at Marysville honda won't look for them and won't replace any used or after market parts.

You're going to have to find those used and unfortunately the choke opener is a common failure so a good used one would be scarce.
If it were me I would just remove it and rely on be electric opener or hook up a manual choke. Which thermovalve? Theres more than one.
