Tried to go on the 3geez wiki today, but only received an error message.

Does anyone know if the Wiki is dead?

Here is the message I received from my PC and smartphone:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'Namespace' (T_NAMESPACE), expecting identifier (T_STRING) in /homepages/27/d91760665/htdocs/3geez/w/includes/Namespace.php on line 44

It's gone. We're working to get the material moved to this host, and I need to find out where we are on that project. Thanks for the reminder.

Any time!

I think it'd be great to get a collection of all the different versions of the manuals. Sometimes I spend more time trying to find which manual had the info I needed, than the actual repair/test procedure.

That's where you come in, my friend. If you want more manuals, you got to buy them, scan them, and send them to us for posting.

I will keep my eye out for shop manuals.

I do have a PDF version Crutchfield installation guide for stereo, speakers, and power antennae. It covers all models from 86-89. Is there someone I can email them to for posting?

Hey Joe, where do we find that hosted info?

http://www.3geez.com/uploads/files/2/3geezHowTo/stereo-install.pdf

We'll have to include a credit to Crutchfield in the post.

Technically, yes. It is installed on the server but I need to finish configuring it.

The plan is to allow anyone to edit, but will require registration.

Whats the status on the wiki being down/up?

It looks like the old wiki was hosted at 1and1.com. Do we have any way to get access to it or have archived copies?

There are some website that archive all revisions of websites out there. A quick search found this one. I bet i could find more useful ones. Main Page - The 3geez Wiki (http://archive.is/pFCxW)

The wiki software is installed, but I really have no idea how to build it up. The forum is in need of some updates coming up that I need to focus on in my spare time, to be honest. If someone familiar with wiki building wants to pick away at it, then I'd be happy move forward that way.

What's involved with it? PHP, database optimization, layout, ?

I've made several websites before, I'm willing.

He's posted this email address on the board before -

get at me if you want this crap.. still havenrt tossed it

contact [at] swiftlytilting.com

It appears that his Twitter handle is @trikome and he has some connection to swiftlytilting.com and trikome.com, although there doesn't appear to be any activity at any of those places in years. It's actually a bit worrisome.

hey guys, sorry the web host i was on upgraded PHP and the old wiki isn't compatible with the new version of PHP which is why it's causing those errors. i totally forgot about the 3geez wiki. i will try to get it back so that you guys can copy the data. none of the data has been lost
