I might be gettin a 3G again

I found one in the Auto trader that I might get. I have the money now too :). It's an 88 LXI (but she said that it doesn't have a sun roof???). 180,000 miles on it, Everything works including AC. 1200 OBO, I might bring a grand up with me and if i like it ill offer her that. What do you guys think on the price? Its a 2 door also. New tires and a CD player too (not like that matters about the CD player).

Ok just had her $800 cash, if she asks how much is it then tell her to count it. (Most people won't turn you down if you have cash in hand, feels nice) Then keep $200 in your pocket just in case. With the $800 have $20s and $50s (make it look like a lot more than what it is) This works like a charm.

Anyways, does it sound weird that she said it was an LXI and it doesn't have a sunroof? Or did they not do that in 88?

the 88's did have a sun roof cuz mine does, shes probly selling you a LX, if im not mistaken i think the lx's are carbed i dunno check under the hood. For 1200 with 180000 miles i think
900-1000 should be better but i dunno up to u

It's a 2 door, it doesn't have a sunroof regardless of trim level. Sounds like a pretty good deal though! :)

ive seen 2 doors with sunroofs, but the catch is, it wasnt a factory item. but actually a dealer item or aftermarket. personally i dont like sunroofs if im buyin a car. if i can get around it i would my 02 has one and the body flex is more than one without it. plus sunroofs are prone to leakin. if this car u found is in great condition;no rust, nice paint, good runing engine and transmission,etc. get it.

I hit a curb. i was driunk and stupiid like i am now. buit i was drivin that night. which is dumb. the 3 g in the background is my sisters. i wastns as drunk as i am tonight. lol. damn i gotta wake up in like 5 hours

Hey Tim, I just realized you were in RI.. ...nice! How much are you looking to spend on another 3G? What model, trim level, and options are you looking for? I ask only b/c I've been seeing a ton of 3G's for sale around here lately.

For example:
Last night i came across an '88 LX-i 4Dr. with only 76K mi. on it. Black w/ cream interior. They were asking 2500 obo. Not a bad deal considering the car is almost new with only 76K.

'bout 2-2.5 hrs. Not far at all, I used to go to 'squam with my friends on weekends, or skip-days back when I was in High School.
