Ok so just to start off I'm new to the forum and honda game I just bought myself an 89 lxi sedan with 240xxx for $500 basically the headlights on it suck so I'm trying to get an hid kit
I've read allot of posts about hid kits but none gave a clear answer... so I bought the autopal h4 housings do people that have this housing run hids with them if so what do I need/what do you run

Welcome from Ohio. Honestly, I don't know what a hid kit is. Can someone shed some light?
What are the issues with the original headlights?

What is this "honda game" people, newbies, without fail, always start their thread with...**
Anyway, if you bought the plastic 6054 housings you could feesably fit (dremel tool and some appropriate hardware from a donar car) any upgraded bulb and socket made for 90's vehicles, without converting to HID electronics, couldn't you?

If you're wanting to convert to HID, get whatever H4 bulbs you want but make sure you get the right sized ballasts. There's several companies that make whole kits which include:
x2-Ballasts
x2-bulbs
x2-wiring harnesses
Usually the conversion kit, you get an adapter built in. Only known issue with most is you have to switch the high and low beam wires as they come wired bassackwards.
Hopefully this helps. If you need any more info, PM me.

save yourself the hassle and just go buy some good quality hella or phillips bulbs.
Get the ones with a blue envelope and the light will be dam near as white as HID
