damn Steve, you got ripped off! Whad'ya pay for that dirty thing?

LOL, nice. Where's the pics of all the parts that are going in it. Go break out that camera and show everyone the good stuff.

HAHAHA! MIDNIGHT EXPRESS! lol seriously though, after taking the head off and seeing all that crap inside there, I would HIGHLY recommend anyone putting a used engine to at least pull the head off and just take a peek and get that crap out.

I hope to bring the block and the VTEC head I got down to a machine shop next week. SO, the plan is to reassemble the engine by the end of January. MWHAHAHAHA

Jeez, what was the previous owner using for fuel................Hershey's syrup? That is nasty. I'm sure with some work you'll be able to get it back into peak operating condition.

It will be peak with some MAJOR goodies

Block will have:
Arias 11:1 comp pistons
Balanced crank up to 10k
Eagle Forged Rods
ARP Bolts
New Bearings

I cant wait.

Looking good Steve!! Let me know when it's done!! I would like to go see it in person!! Since i did not see ur car or Marky's Hatch!! Also!! Steve! Are u still planing to use an Ls Tranny? and if so. why?? Are u planning to get Turbo?

No to the LS tranny because it's gear ratios suck for acceleration. I will most likely get a JDM S1 from a 1st gen B16A.

ho much does an engine weigh? i wanna take mine out and tear it apart. i DONT htink i could do it myself. but is there any way i can get itout easily with out dealing with, renting, transporting and dealing with one of those engine lifter winch things....plus. what the hell do i clean it with?!
