View Full Version : Water from the sunroof

Here is my second problem.

I had been warned about this by the old owner. It appears that, if I leave the car with the front higher than the back and it rains, water accumulates around the sunroof, and some of it will eventually enter the interior of the car when first driving it downhill (about half a glass). I saw this happen yesterday... I have been told that there are drainage pipes, but they are apparently clogged.

How can I solve this problem? Do these pipes exist? If so, how should I proceed to clean them up?

Here is a picture of when the special effect was being carefully prepared...

Ah, interesting... And I located the specific pages on the workshop manual. It appears that much of the interior has to be removed in order to reach the top of the pipes (where the clogging certainly is). I have no garage, and currently no time bracket for this.

This must be postponed a little bit.

Thanks anyway

The consensus in the thread I posted seems to be that compressed air, and not disassembly, is the best way to clear the lines.
