car stall due to low idle

ok i thought my trobles were over but there not i was drivin g and i hit a bump
and as soon as i hit htat bump which i hit hard the car started hasitation through 1-3 k rpm
and then if i come to a stop it turns off
some one please help

I had an issue with a pile of rust dust flying around inside my distributor, often killed the car going down the road. Just a little idea and an easy check
