So I know it's probably a stupid question. Clock is not working fuse is still good. Even put a new fuse in. And ideas?

The 1989 accord aervice manual has a procedure on page 25-24 to test the power and ground input for the clock. If that tests good the clock is bad. You might be able to fix the clock by re-soldering all the solder joints in the clock. I posted a couple of hears ago about fixing mine by re-soldering all the solder joints.

Here's a link to my post on fixing the clock.

remove the clock and the circuit board and reflow/add solder for the LCD pins. typically this works , however there is a 1.2k ohm resistor iirc is for lighting the display that can also go bad causing intermittent display. That is if you do know you have a solid power / ground connection.

With these old electronics, carefully inspect each component with a microscope or magnifying glass. Cold solder joints can be almost impossible to view normally as well as any cracks in the resistors. When re-flowing the existing solder will "spit" a little bit, this is ok and normal from the bath oil/flux used in the wave soldering.

good luck!
