Felt like driving the limit for a change....

Well i just got back from going into town for a few suplies. Colorado Springs has doubled its cop force and they are all over the roads. Some where behind bushes and shit. So on the way back im driving 55 in a 55, because im paranoid of cops ever sense i got two tickets in my 3rd gen. I live in a series of dirt roads that are all 30 mph. I normally come off the highway and race my car up the hills and take corners sharp and stuff. I have lived here for two years and have never seen a single cop out here. I came off the highway and got ready to race it home, but i felt very strange like something bad was going to happen if i did it. So i just went 30 mph. I came around the last corner before i got to my house and there sat a fat ass cop on a bike with his radar gun pointed right at me. I waved and drove right on by, while he eyed me down.:werd:
Anyone else have any stories like this?

I drove past a cop doing over 120... I didn't look back and I took the first exit and when I got into town I made just about every right turn on red I could.


Other then that I've been followed by 1 marked and one unmarked cop car for peeling out at a light. I was sweating the whole time, but I never broke the speed limit and I had no intention of doing so. I just wanted to peel out.

Yeah i love peeling out, but i then drive like a turtle due to my paranoia. Im soo mad that the springs has tons of new bastard cops. heh

after a basketball game one night i was driving home at about 12 int he morning and i thought i would take the fast way home cuz i was tired. the fast way home is a 3 mile straight road with no speed limit. this is the road everyone tests their top speed on. i have NEVER in my life seen a cop on this road but there was one on the road right before it on this night. lets just say the fast way home wasnt very fast that night. he was sitting on the side of the road with no lights on. cops cant give you a ticket if they have no lights on so he turned around and followed me all 15 miles to my house. very nerve racking

Cool story man, was your heart beating about 300 times a second. Not possible without your heart exploding, but it feels that way? I hate that feeling of a cop following you, waiting for you to make a mistake.

last night i pulled up to a light with my friend in the car as i was takin him home and there was an escort in front of us. I was tired so i didn't feel like speeding so i was just cruizin and after a little bit i saw that escort pulled over. I was relieved cuz if i had been goin at normal nonlegal speeds my ass woulda been pulled over.

i was on my way home from a movie the other night and i was doing about 70 keeping speed with the car ahead of me and a light turns yellow i was about to gun it and roll on threw but i was like i better stop so i stoped for it and all the sudden a smokey pulls out onto the road and pulls the car that ran it ahead of me :eek: sure glad i didnt save that guy from getting a ticket:D

wait, cops can't give you a ticket if they dont have their lights on? seriously, cuz i got a speeding ticket i have to go to court for reckless on the 18th and the dude didnt have his lights on. oh well, i live in Virginia so it doesnt matter, im gonna get fined anyways. damn Commonwealth

Oh and btw i fucking hate cops, i have to drive like a freaking turtle in and out of here. What happened was that my neighbors hate me, I race in and out of my house. My parents are cool with it because they know im a great driver, and know i will do it anyway. I have almost hit a freaking donkey, about 5 deer, couple of racoons, and about 30 dogs. They all fucking jump out at me, but anyway my neighbors after two years of hearing me racing down these roads called the cops and asked to monitor this area. My mom talked to a neighbor who called because she saw me floor my accord around a corner and kick up dust all over the place just having a great time by myself. I dont think they know its me who goes out at 3 in the morning with friends and peels out on the roads, but now I am going to drive the limit until i buy a radar detector. freaking cops

i was flying down a man highway going to cowtown i was driving my 93LUDE doing about 220km when all of a sudin i look right and iam passing a cop he looks at me and shakes his head.He didnt even try to pull me over.BUT cops are bad were i live i got cauht doubling the speed limit 5 times in two days lost my license

Well i have never hit one and when i say i almost hit one i mean that im going about 5 miles an hour because i see the mother fuckers coming. The neighbors let their bastard dogs chase after my car all the time. One dog runs next to my car and looks like its about to go under it. And out here there is a lot of wildlife so i have to always keep my eyes peeled. I was also exaggerating when i said that about all the wildlife, sorry. And there is a suicidal donkey out here that sits on the side of the road and waits for someone to drive by only to run out in front of it. I swear to god he has a death wish. I only speed when i have a clear path and I can see the sides of the roads fine.

i just came back from westheimer(place in houston where most people go for races).....anyways...there were like shit loads of cops....didnt feel right you know...you probably heard about htat big ass bust at the parking lot in houston...so today didnt feel right...so i just turned my ass around and went home..damn pigs

I've been nailed 3 times so far... once for having a plate light out... wich it wasnt it was jut a little dim. once for peeling out at a red light and banging a right turn.. the cop caught me cuz he was sitting on the left side of the intersection... and once for blowing out of a parkinglot onto main st. going past a cumbies (where a cop was) at 50 and drifting left through a red light... i was going about 55 down the street for about a half mile, blew through a stop sign and drifted another left when i saw blues behind me... i figured I could lose him so i kept going... he wasnt directly behind me so i figured what the hell. I had it up to 70 on this one roadand then took the second right i saw. at this point i thought i lost him. so i slowed down to 40 and drove through a small neighborhood.. next thing i know the cops on my ass and im on the side of the road. I got a warning because apparantly the only thing he saw me do was drive past cumbies going "a little fast."

k mines gonna be long i got to stories and your lucky hondaman i've never got any warnings..., but anyways... last year when i had my '87 i was headed up to weekend drill(30-45 min away goin about 80mph) and i was cruisin at 80-85 passing every car on the freeway. then this one car passes me, and i'm like hmm..., pass him or just let him go? so, i let him go thinking i'd laugh at him when i see him pulled over up the road sometime. so, i keep cruising, and it's bugging me that he was ahead of me and i wasnt catching up(i usually set my speed by the cars around me, i gotta be passing them or it feels like i'm not getting anywhere, even if i'ts just barely faster than them). so, i finally decide to pass him, and i start to step on it, and then i see cop lights come on and a cop pulls out from an underpass and pulls the guy over. if i'd have passed him when he started passing me, then i'd've been pulled over. now the other one, lol. this was also in my '87, i was out cruising state street looking for races and stuff, and i see these girls in a 4g. they take off, and i kind of do, but i'm just tryin to get next to them to look over at them. state street is 3 lanes on each side with a turning lane, and i'm in the far left and they're in the middle. a light ahead turns red, we slow down and stop, and then a copper comes from nowhere with his lights on, gets behind the girls, and he can't even straighten out behind them cuz he must've been freaking close to the light. anyways, i go kinda slow when the light turns red, the girls pull over, the cop follows them and doesnt get behind me, so i went downt he rod a couple blocks, flipped a u, drove back and laughed. sorry for the long post, and every time i've been pulled over i've got a ticket.... it sucks i have bad luck with cops lol
