How do I remove the entire A/C unit?

Yeah, so I came to the conclusion that I no longer need my A/C. I mean what the hell, it hasn't worked in like 3 years anyway, so why not just go for a little "weight reduction".

So now here's my little dillema. How the hell do I get rid of the damn thing? I want there to be NO trace of the fact that I had A/C in that little bugger, so I want anything that had to do with it out. Anyone willing to teach a retard a new trick?

Mark it is a pain in the ass to take the compressor out with the radiator in. It was like a puzzle trying to pull the large compressor out the top and i am most positive there was no room to drop it down. I think i even had the fan out too. This was a while ago but this is what i remember when i had to.

I already had my ps pump and bracket removed... but when you remove your ps pump just unbolt it with the lines to the ps pump still intact then it's easier to reinstall later on. remove the a/c fan, then remove the ac lines. becareful of the gas inside the a/c compressor when you remove the lines...
Remove the turn signals and take off the front bumper it will make it easier to remove the condensor that sits in front of the radiator. once the lines are out of the way remove the condensor.

you may have to remove the upper radiator support bracket and the ground wire to the valve cover for added clearance.

holy shit, what a damn project. This is WAY more then I bargained for. I was thinking about making it a Saturday project, but this seems more like a Sat, Sun, and Mon. project for me. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait 'til I yank this engine and am in the process of putting in the new w/ a few goodies just for good measure.

I removed both my PS and AC in about two and a half hours. It's not too difficult, but be prepared to get messy.
