kick ass! I want to keep my a20 in when I build my drag car but everyone keeps telling me to switch motors. That motor proves you don't have to!

he had it hooked up as an intake. that car was trailered. that was it's only drawback. not street legal.

Why was that car not street legal? Was he runnin slicks? That car would need to be packing some boost to need slicks. I don't get it...

yep big ass slicks up front! ...and if I'm not mistaken didn't the guy mention that he was running about 22lbs./boost.

only questionable thing about that car was the guy was runnin' with Toki's. I'll bet he's losing a little launch due to the super soft shocks he's got.

Well, this one isn't really being built for drag racing, and its not a 3g, but the motor is from one. Carburated and all motor, 15.9 @ 85.9 and slowly improving.

the slicks were 24s. that car had a lot of other not-street-friendly things about it too. it was a race car, that's really the main point, not a street car. he didn't build it for the street, he built it to be an 87 accord that runs 11s-12s.

Yeah I'd like to know what he did to make the a20 handle 22 lbs of boost!

crossed his fingers?

but seriously, it's an iron block. as long as the head's in good shape, it should be able to take it. probably not for much longer than abour 12 seconds at a time though. and i would guess he's not running stock pistons or rods. i think the crank might even be a concern there though.
