hopfully gettin a 1st gen teg trans!

a guy i work with has a first gen teg that he offered to sell me.so i told him i just wanted the trans:deal:
hopfully it is a 5-speed he's pretty sure it is.i can get it reel cheap hopefully.
anyway my question is can i stick this thing directly in my car or do i have to swap the guts to my accord case?i read the how-to but my feeble brain is just not computing this part!any help is appreciated.

yes you need to take the guts out of the teg tranny and put it in the accord tranny's bell housing. and you might wanna keep your accords 5th gear instead of the teg's 5th cuz the teg's 5th is like the accords 4th

i did check that first.i just didn't understand weather the teg case would bolt to my bellhousing.i have two trans out of accord.an lx and an lx-i, the lx is going in my car for the time being unless i can just stick the teg trans in as is. so if i have to swap guts i have the lx-i trans to rebuild.
