Greetings, 3geez.

Last night, I was out and about for hours. Later on in the drive, I went to turn off my headlights, and the turning part on the end of the arm was stuck in place. I tried wiggling it a few times, and it wouldn't budge, so I gave it a bit of effort and it sort of snapped back onto the track. So now the whole thing works normally again, but my lights do not turn on or off. It was stuck in the middle position, so my tail lights and markers are on.

The actuators were up when I killed the battery last night, and this morning when I reconnected the battery, the headlights closed, but the lights are still on.

Has anyone had an issue like this before? It never had any symptoms before. Seemed out of nowhere. Signals and hazards work fine.

Thanks for any help, and thanks for taking the time to read.

EDIT: The car makes the twinkling bell noise that it would if I had left my lights on after turning the car off and the door is open.

Might be wise to start with a combo switch rebuild.

Open it up and see what happened,

Keep that battery unhooked while its unintended just to be safe.
