Howdy, I Currently have 2 3geez coupes 1st is an 88' lxi 5spd (240,000 miles) I have had for 20 years have to add water and temp gauge doesn't seem accurate sometimes temp reads too low, 2nd one is an 89' lxi auto (minty) except for leaking trans (121,000 miles) I just picked up. 88' is my daily driver and I am currently trying to fix the auto trans leak on the 89'. I have the auto trans dropped and ordered all exterior seals. Will post pictures if I remember. I am just a do-it-yourselfer trying to save money and yet have a reliable Honda for the next 20 years.
Below are links of the 89' lxi auto trans project

Thanks for the welcome guys, 89 auto trans not leaking anymore after replacing 3 seals which were mainshaft seal and both axle seals. Next up is a motor mount which is the torque strut bushing on trans side of the torque strut tube. After that I need to replace the dizzy o-ring. Also looking for Honda oem radio direct fit replacement ( prefer CD ).

Got around to replacing the front torque strut bushing on the dog-bone. Photos below. I ended up taking the dog-bone out to replace the one bushing in front (bigger one) after install Torque spec'd both 19mm bolts to 54 ft.lbs. per spec.

i was at the junkyard and they had a OEM cd player that came with the Se-i. some member just upgrade to a prelude cd player. the harness is the same so its plug and play.
