My Engine Sounds Like a Pig

Ok this sounds werd but my engine makes a sound like it was a pig:werd: Well my engine is giving me problems and I think it that. But it goes away when i cover the bottom hole inside the throttle body. Were does that port go to? And when i start it it goes all the way to 3000 RPM and after about 10 seconds it goes to a normal 800 RPM idle. What the hell?
