i know nipponpower.com has one from centerforce or ACT, i dont know. are there any other lightweight flywheels around? and whose that guy that said he does it for $80, thats on 3geez? thanks

The $80 is for lightening a facory flywheel. People will debate wether that is safe of not. If the structure of the flywheel is weakened too much it could shatter and you can kiss you're feet good bye. The one on nipponpower is from spec. I've never heard of them but thats the only one thats currently available for our cars. Aasco (http://www.aascomotorsports.com/) used to make them and I hear they still will if you ask real nicely I have no idea whats happening with sits potential group buy, but he had mentioned something about one. Untill then those are you options.

Please use the search option. There were a few aluminum or light weight flywheel threads, in the performance forum / and maybe in the technical forum as well.
