If the weather is quite cold outside, your car will fast idle for a few minutes until it is warmed up, so that is normal.
Does the idle go to 600rpm everything you stop? Or when you turn some accessories on (like air-condition)?
And what is your normal idle after the engine has warmed up? Should be around 750rpm.
You might also need to clean your EGR valve.

you probably have ECU code, just look at ECU and read the code.
plus if i am correct you have B20 engine right?
